Smiling Albino shifts focus on domestic travel

With Thailand’s tourism reopening is still bound to happen, Smiling Albino shifts its focus on local offerings anticipating the rise in domestic travel.

Offering experiences that go beyond the surface, Smiling Albino aims to show expats and locals the depth of experiences that can be found within Bangkok’s unassuming neighbourhoods. Experiences that its travel experts excel at weaving and delivering.

“Whether you’re new to Bangkok, a local or a long-time resident, we’re betting on the fact that there’s a lot you haven’t seen – a whole lot,” says Smiling Albino co-founder and CEO Daniel Fraser. “Oftentimes we’re so eager to cross borders that we don’t spend enough time exploring our own backyards, which is what we’re eager to show Thailand’s expats and locals.”

From combining three of their favourite things on Bikes, Boats & Beer to deep back alleys of Aromatic Chinatown, hidden gardens, that street food spot that definitely hasn’t been blogged about yet on Headlights Adventure, bike trails through the city that weave laneways far away from the everyday trail or the off-the-beaten-path destinations that have alluded tourists, Smiling Albino is digging deep while the tourists aren’t around. Other experiences include a family-friend Tuk Tuk Scavenger Hunt, and their most popular day out cruising the canals with Liquid Bangkok.
