Austin is one of the most beloved city in the USA. It’s known as the “Live Music Capital of the World”. A city that defies expectations, is totally and wonderfully weird, and has everything to offer a visitor. It’s a hugely popular destination with domestic and international travelers.
Austin city is vibrant, full of energy and embraces an alternative lifestyle. There is so many cool places to explore, things to do, and something to taste! Actually, there is always an exciting adventure around the corner. It is impossible to cover them all in a long weekend.
This travel guide to Austin can help you plan an affordable and wonderful trip. Anyone who want to travel Austin has an endless bucket list of things to do.
▶️Here is my ultimate 6 days Austin travel guide with austin tourist attractions!
▶️Day 1:
• Lady Bird Lake: Features paddling with a view, with the city’s skyline visible most of the time. You can explore paddling-designated lake trails or you chart your own course. It’s a great place for rowing or kayaking. There are trails around the lake for hiking and cycling, too.
• Food truck pods: If you feel hungry head over to some infamous food truck pods. You can find these pods all over the city.
• Hang out in Zilker Park: Zilker Park is in the heart of South Austin. The park offers many different types of outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, kayaking, jogging, and anything else you can do in a park.
▶️Day 2:
• I recommend you go to a place called biscuits and groovy for breakfast. After that you can go street called South Congress Avenue.
• Drinks on Rainey street: This nightlife area is filled with old houses that have been recently converted into bars. Originally the “hipster” part of the city, it’s now mainstream and teems with people on the weekend.

▶️Day 3:
• Bam Bagels: It’s a food heaven. This particular store features a wine bar, smoothie bar, beer locker, roof terrace, giant salad bars, and seemingly endless supplies of vegetables, food, and in-store restaurants.
• Explore Lady Bird Johnson garden: The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center uniquely blends education, research, and recreation through its native gardens, hiking trails, and arboretum to highlight the vital role of plants.

▶️Day 4:
• Zilker bolt Botanical Garden: It is a sanctuary, a place to be in touch with the seasons and refresh our spirits.
• Swimming at Barton springs: This is definitely a big iconic place in Austin. Barton Springs is a natural spring water pool in the heart of the city! it’s like swimming in a river or a lake.

▶️Day 5:
• Franklin’s Barbecue: In Franklin the line starts forming around 7:00 or 8:00 in the morning for collecting food. The line grows and grows until the doors open and then moves slowly until they run out of meat.
• Hike of Mount Bonnell Hike: Who loves free fun with a stunning view will enjoy experience at Mount Bonnell. The average time spent exploring the summit is about 30 minutes.
• Live music and a beer at Rodeo: Rodeo is a bar in the south end of Austin. Here you can experience award-winning recording artists each night at Rodeo Austin, or dance the night away at the 100X Dance Hall after-hours honky-tonk.

• Mckinney Falls State Park: The last day you could go mckinney falls state park in the morning. Here you can camp, hike, mountain or road bike, geocache, go bouldering, and picnic. You can also fish and swim in Onion Creek.
• Torchy’s Tacos: It’s a popular taco spot in Austin. Torchy’s offers the typical egg-and-whatever combos you’ll find at most Austin taco establishments.
• North America Mexican Watch the largest bat colony in North America Mexican free tail bats arrive in Central Texas in the early spring.
