Kedarnath Dham is situated at the elevation of 11700 feet, in Rudraprayag district of Garhwal Mandal in Uttarakhand state.

Apart from the Haili service, pilgrims can complete the journey of Kedarnath ji on foot. Or mule, dolly By Palki or Kandi …
Parking charges for car in Son Prayag are 120 for the first 24 hours and then Rs 100 for next 24 hours.
Taxis are run in regular intervals from Son Prayag to Gauri Kund, rent of 4-5 kms is Rs 20 per ride.
Badly affected part by natural disaster can be seen in Gauri Kund and other parts of Kedarnath.
From Gaurikund 18 kms trek usually takes 6-8 hours while walking.
A few shops, restaurants, hotels, on the pathway from Gaurikund, many travelers arrive at Gaurikund on the first day and start their journey early in the morning to Kedarnath and reach the Gauri Kund back in the evening.
To reach Kedarnath from Gaurikund, passengers can also use horse /mule, kandi, Doli, Palki etc.
