With remote working looking increasingly likely to extend beyond the summer, Waves Hotel & Spa has the perfect solution for those looking to spread their wings a little and leave the confines of the home office.
Barbados is allowing visitors to work remotely on the island for up to a year and Waves Hotel & Spa is offering monthly rentals for an all-inclusive break complete with excellent WiFi connections, daily fitness classes and complimentary spa treatments.
Remote working is infinitely more appealing when a lunch break can be enjoyed on a complimentary catamaran ride or a Zoom call can be taken on a balcony overlooking turquoise seas. Workers no longer need to worry about what to cook after a long day or the admin of home life as the team at Waves will take care of you.
An ideal-post lockdown holiday destination, Waves Hotel & Spa offers the best that Barbados has to offer, calm, crystal clear waters, the freshest local cuisine, welcoming, friendly staff and an abundance of relaxation and revitalisation opportunities for travellers in the stunning spa. The entire property has health and wellness at its core, offering a laid back luxury feel with driftwood and natural hue décor, daily exercise classes overlooking the Caribbean Sea, an indulgent spa offering a range of body and beauty treatments, complimentary watersports and more – all blended with the relaxing signature fragrance of grapefruit woven throughout the hotel allowing the ultimate escape for body and mind.
Guest safety
Waves Hotel & Spa on Barbados’ Platinum West Coast has re-opened its doors with new hygiene protocols in place to ensure the safety of all guests. The all-inclusive oceanside resort has a focus on nurturing the mind and the body and offers the ideal place for travellers to rejuvenate on one of the Caribbean’s most iconic coastlines following the stress and strain of recent worldwide events. Travel agents will earn 10% commission on bookings for the package if booked directly through Elegant Hotels.
A number of hygiene protocols have been put in place to ensure guests are safe during their stay, including enhanced cleaning and disinfection, social distancing practices, appropriate PPR, temperature screening upon arrival and electrostatic spraying to enhance the already rigorous cleaning protocols. Marriott International cleanliness and hygiene protocols can be found on Commitment To Clean. Waves Hotel & Spa’s protocol and service is available to view here.
Barbados is currently open to British travellers and listed on the UK Government’s quarantine exemption list, meaning Brits can easily travel to the island and return without needing to quarantine once back in the UK. Virgin Atlantic also recommenced its direct flight route into Grantley Adams Airport this month, meaning travellers can easily reach the beautiful, Caribbean destination.
